CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA) TRAINING

Our CNA training combines classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience in real healthcare settings. You’ll learn essential skills and receive mentorship from experienced instructors.

Most students complete the course in just a few weeks. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Tuition is $1,875 and includes registration, textbook, and processing fees. State exam and textbook fees are separate but affordable.

No healthcare experience is required—just a passion for helping others and a willingness to learn.

Yes! Many graduates are hired directly into roles at Columbine Health Systems.

INTERNSHIPS

Our internships are open to students and recent graduates in fields like nursing, therapy, administration, human resources, and dietary services.

You’ll gain real-world experience in healthcare settings, receive personalized mentorship, and explore career paths across multiple disciplines.

Most internships are unpaid, but they offer valuable hands-on experience, networking opportunities, and can often lead to full-time roles.

APPRENTICESHIPS

It’s a paid training program that combines classroom learning with on-the-job experience. Apprentices work in skilled nursing, therapy, dietary, and administrative roles while earning a paycheck.

We partner with local school districts and workforce programs to support students and job seekers looking to enter the healthcare field.

Many apprentices transition into full-time roles with Columbine after program completion.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE PROGRAM

This program (currently being reestablished) offers supervised clinical hours for students in nursing and allied health programs. Participants gain exposure to real patient care across Columbine’s full continuum of services.

Students may participate in charting, vitals, patient interaction, team huddles, and department rotations.

Yes! We’re actively rebuilding our clinical partnerships and welcome inquiries from schools, instructors, and program directors. 

CLINICAL PASTORAL EDUCATION (CPE)

CPE is a structured program for chaplains, clergy, and spiritual care providers looking to strengthen their ability to support patients, families, and staff in healthcare, hospice, and community settings.

Students participate in supervised care, group reflection, and hands-on spiritual caregiving in Columbine communities.

Yes—it fulfills key requirements for chaplaincy certification and is taught by experienced CPE educators.

VOLUNTEERING AT COLUMBINE

We welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds—whether you’re a student exploring healthcare, a retiree looking to give back, or someone with a passion for connecting with others. All volunteers must complete a brief orientation and background check.

There are many ways to get involved, including:

  • Assisting with resident activities and events
  • Visiting with residents one-on-one
  • Supporting therapy, recreation, or spiritual care teams
  • Helping with administrative or clerical tasks
  • Playing music, leading crafts, or sharing other talents

Yes. We work with schools and programs to help students fulfill service requirements—and gain meaningful experience in the process.

We’re flexible! Whether you can volunteer weekly or monthly, we’ll find a schedule that fits. Some volunteers help during special events, while others commit to ongoing visits or activities.
