At Columbine Health Systems, caring for others is at the heart of everything we do. This March, we’re inviting our residents, families, staff, and community members to roll up their sleeves and help save lives at our upcoming blood drives. After all, it takes all types to keep the beat going at Columbine!

We are proud to partner with the UCHealth Garth Englund Blood Center to host three convenient opportunities to donate:

Every donation can help patients in our region who rely on life-saving blood products for surgeries, cancer treatments, emergencies, and ongoing medical care. A single donation can make a powerful difference.

Appointments are strongly encouraged, though walk-ins are welcome as space allows. To register in advance, please visit the HemaConnect Donor Portal through the UCHealth Garth Englund Blood Center: https://blood-donation.uchealth.org/donor/auth/signin

When registering:

• Create an account using your legal name exactly as it appears on your ID.
• Note that this is separate from the UCHealth Connection App.
• Leave the “Donor ID” section blank.
• Select the time you wish to donate.

Tips for a smooth donation:

• Eat a well-balanced meal the morning of your donation
• Hydrate well beginning the day before your appointment
• Get a good night’s sleep
• Wear comfortable clothing with sleeves that can be easily rolled up
